Rebuild Process
1. Disassemble Unit
We quickly and easily disassemble the clutch/brake unit. With our large assembly bays and 35 ton crane capacity, flywheels of 30,000 lbs are easily handled.
2. Parts Inspection
To properly rebuild or repair a clutch/brake, you must do a thorough inspection on all parts to check for wear, stress cracks and damage. We have been building and repairing clutches and brakes since 1968, so we have the technical expertise and experience to provide you with a thorough analysis of the condition of your clutch/brake.
3. Assembly
We have a team of experienced mechanics that assemble everything on our factory floor.
4. Testing
We install many of our units on a test stand and perform a series of tests and checks that can include run out, temperature, vibration analysis and leak inspection dependent on style of clutch/brake unit. Factory certification, proper repair standards and testing ensure the unit will run properly when received at the customer site and the machine will not be used as a test stand.
